Tuesday’s Bits and Bobs: Being Distracted
This week I’ve had to get serious about some things. One of those was tax and I’ve been very distracted as I was trying to get everything ready to send to my accountant to get my tax done. I always leave it to the last minute, and I really should get myself organised a lot sooner.
We had another excursion on Sunday morning and all the people who RSVP’d on Meetups were a no show, which was very disappointing. I just don’t know what to do with them. I don’t get anyone doing them when I charge and then no one shows up when they are free. It might be time to give it up and just make times to go out with the people who have been loyal to the events.
I only had one person give ideas for the artwork or logo and we might try some things, and when I get some time, will talk to Julie about what we can do. I quite liked what she came up and will share it soon.
One On One Photography Classes
More enquiries have been made since I removed the contact form from my website. It has been amazing, It is nice to be people coming to me so I can teach them photography. It is such a nice way of doing it.
Formatt Hitech Filters
I have ordered myself some new filters. I have been thinking about getting the Firecrest 16 for awhile, it is the 16 stop ND Filter. I finally decided to go for it and just do it. Then I thought, while I’m at it why don’t I get some ND graduated filters as well, so I ordered the hard filters in a kit of three. Then I heard about another filter that I’d never heard of before, so I order a ND reverse graduated filter, I think that is what it is called. It is supposed to be good for sunsets and sunrises, so will see what it is like. So stay tuned as I try using the new filters, I will let you know how I go with them.
The photos are from around a country town in central Victoria, Harcourt. I used to go there to photograph the cycling, though the last time I was there, I think I was more interested in the landscape than the cycling, I think it was a sign.
I’m going to leave it there today, I’m glad my tax is finally down and now I can get on and start it all again for the current financial year.
