written by Leanne Cole
Great photo Leanne 🙂 I love the detail on the bees wings!!
Thank you, I was happy to see that detail.
Love the Bee
Thank you Sandra.
That’s a beautiful picture Leanne 🙂 I like macro photos of insects.
Thank you, I like them too, though not ones of spiders. 🙂
Stunning! Love the colors, the orange bee on the yellow flower with the yellow bokeh.
Thank you Nicci, oh yes all those yellows.
That’s really pretty. I love the detail and light in the top wing.
Thank you Deborah.
Oh yes looks huge!! But great photo as always!
Yes, but not really that big, macro is good for that. Thank you.
that’s a happy bee full of pollen 🙂 what a marvelous shot, Leanne!
I think it was Debi, lots of pollen for them now. Thank you. 🙂
A stolen moment in the spotlight Leanne 🙂 … love the creaminess of the flower and fine delicacy of the bee wings !
* marvelling at how bumblebeezzzz fly …
Oh yes, and now recorded for all time. Thank you Poppytump, it is that time of year here, the bees have been very busy, soon it will be too hot for all. 🙂
Stunning photo Leanne
Thank you Raewyn.
Beautiful capture of a bee wallowing in pollen! With all the snow on the ground here in the Interior of BC it makes me nostalgic for the summer.
Thank you Peter, you wouldn’t want to be in our summer, it gets too hot. I have been seeing photos of snow everywhere, I love the idea of snow, but I don’t really understand the reality of it.
beautiful macro and have a wonderful Friday, Leanne.
Thank you Cattan, you have a good one too.
Been meaning to get my macro lens out for a while – this has inspired me 🙂
That sounds like a great idea. 🙂
Such a stunning capture
Love the droopy flower, Leanne!
They were really cool, there were lots of them and the bees loved them. Thanks Elen.
My sort of Thursday ..
That’s good to hear Julie.
