Book on Banyule Flats: The end is near

It is almost time for the book to be finished that I’ve been doing on Banyule Flats for the last year and a bit. It was meant to have been completed last December, but I was given an extension to the end of April.

  3. How exciting! And I’m sure a lot of hard work has gone before this. If these two beautiful pictures are anything to go by, I’m sure the book will be spectacular! Congratulations 🙂

    • It is rather, and yes, lots of hours taking photos, processing them and sorting, not mention meetings and organising things. Who knew putting a book together would take so much. Thank you, I hope so. 🙂

  5. I am rarely inspired in the summer. The air here is dusty and brown, and the mountains hide under the dry clouds.

    • I know what you mean Marsha, I must prefer the colder months. It is the same here in summer, it is very brown and not nice at all.

      • I’ve tried to be more alert in the summer since I started photographing things, but blah…Right now in the spring, I just can’t help myself from snapping a few pictures.

      • It is very blah, I’m with you there, I have to say. I can’t wait for winter to get here. I think you are right about that, I’m hanging out for this hot weather to go away, then I can get stuck into some good things.

      • We are having lovely spring weather now. It was stunning today, clear cool air, bright flowers in bloom. Gorgeous.

      • That’s good to hear Marsha, something nice before the heat. It is cloudy and stormy here, a sign that winter is on the way. First time in a long time the air conditioner hasn’t been on.

Leanne beautiful sunset good luck with the book it must have taken a while to compile this I really love all the photos I know this area very well as my parents lived in this area . keep up the good work The main thing is to look after your health and take breaks when you can as your family partner needs time with you too one can get so over loaded with work especially if it is a passion.

    • Thank you Lynne. It is a great area, I love living here. You don’t need to worry there, I always take care of me.
